HOPE: The Theme of Rescue

In years past I remember singing, "Rescue the Perishing" at many Mission events. (Click on “About Us – Newsletter”) The message of hope we share with those in despair who come to the Rockford Rescue Mission for help is also one that Christ is making very real to me. Healing is found as we abide in Him and faithfully practice the presence of God. I think it's a pretty great message of hope for all of us that it is enough - and everything - to belong to God and know it.

Thank you for remembering the Mission so those who have hopelessly lost their way can be rescued, recovered and restored by God's healing grace.
