Women of Hope Event Marks Book Release

Rockford Rescue Mission’s Sept. 15 Women of Hope event celebrates the release of our new book, The Other Side of Hope: From Dark Valleys to Wholeness.

The book tells the powerful stories of seven brave women who all have separate connections to the Mission.

Women of Hope begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Klehm Arboretum.

The evening includes appetizers, worship, fellowship and a panel discussion with some of the women who tell their stories in the book.

Tickets are just $25, with all proceeds supporting life transformation for women and children in Rockford Rescue Mission programs.

Books will be available for purchase, and Nettie’s Mercantile will have a pop-up shop where attendees can purchase handmade home decor and gifts created by dedicated volunteers and residents in our Life Recovery program.
