Rockford Rescue Mission, a non-profit Christian organization, has the following ministry employment opportunities available.

 

ADMINISTRATION

 

 

Director of Operations (FT)

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Executive Director in all areas of Mission operations as needed. Promote, establish, and ensure a culture of safety and stewardship. Primary focus includes Retail Operations, Facilities, and Technology. Manage Facilities, including building and property. Provide direction for business operations in finances, production, customer service, and donor relationships.

 

Executive Administrative Assistant (FT)

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general administrative support and carry out the established administrative procedures in alignment with RRM’s mission and values. Schedule meetings; prepare materials and presentations for the Executive Director and Leadership Team. Handle confidential information, including accurate and confidential filing, financial, personnel, and other administrative documentation. Perform general administrative duties including processing mail and e-mail, answering phones, and managing electronic records.

 

CAFÉ

 

 

Café Associate (2-PT or 1-FT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with food and beverage preparation and ensure that the customer receives a superior product and friendly service. Maintain cleanliness of café and complete housekeeping duties. Adhere to proper food handling procedures.

 

FACILITIES

 

 

Facilities Associate (PT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with special facilities projects and overall maintenance including grounds, HVAC systems, and vehicle repair.

 

 

FOOD SERVICE

 

 

Cook (1-FT and 1-PT)

 

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and cook meals for Mission food service programs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and surrounding food service areas.

 

 

 

MEN’S PROGRAMS

 

 

Men’s Life Recovery Aftercare Coach (PT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee an effective Aftercare Program for both former Life Recovery residents and for current Stage 4 residents that upholds the Program standards and positive outcomes.

 

 

 

Men’s Life Recovery Weekend Coordinator (PT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, mental, and physical needs of homeless individuals. Oversee the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and volunteers within the RRM facility. Maintain a non-threatening, drug and alcohol-free environment.

 

 

Men’s Crisis Evening/Weekend Coordinator (2-PT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, mental, and physical needs of homeless individuals. Oversee the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and volunteers within the RRM facility. Maintain a non-threatening, drug and alcohol-free environment.

 

 

 

WOMEN’S PROGRAMS

 

 

Women’s Program Supervisor (FT)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise all aspects of the Women’s Life Recovery, Women’s Crisis Center, and Child Care Programs. Develop and maintain daily operational procedures to ensure positive outcomes for all guests/residents and children. Be actively involved in creating effective and accountable programs. Supervise program staff and volunteers. Responsible for the case management system and its effective use.

 

 

Women’s Life Recovery Aftercare Coach (PT)

 

 

Women’s Crisis Evening Coordinator (FT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, mental, and physical needs of Crisis guests and Life Recovery residents. Oversee the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and volunteers within the RRM facility. Maintain a non-threatening, drug and alcohol-free environment.

 

 

Women’s Crisis Guest Advocate (PT)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet with residents and guests to discuss guidelines, daily procedures, problems and program needs. Act as an advocate for clients when needed. Advise and schedule classes. Provide assistance, encouragement, motivation and direction to residents and guests.

 

 

WORKS! CENTER

 

 

Supervisor (FT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct the day to day activities of the Works! Center. Develop and implement programming to support and expand the educational and career goals of participants. Maintain candidate records, coordinate schedules, prepare statistics and reports, and forge positive relationships with area agencies and businesses.

 

Career Specialist/Vocational Trainer (FT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist individuals to successfully prepare, secure and thrive in career path employment. Conduct assessments and follow-up services. Provide coaching, encouragement, motivation, and direction.
