Rockford Rescue Mission, a non-profit Christian organization, has the following ministry employment opportunities available.




Executive Administrative Assistant (FT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Provide general administrative support and carry out the established administrative procedures in alignment with RRM’s mission and values. Schedule meetings; prepare materials and presentations for the Executive Director and Leadership Team. Handle confidential information, including accurate and confidential filing, financial, personnel, and other administrative documentation. Perform general administrative duties including processing mail and e-mail, answering phones, and managing electronic records.




Cafe / Food Service Supervisor (Short Term)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Ensure that the daily operation of Restoration Café and Food Services is carried out.  Responsible to direct food and beverage ordering, inventory, preparation and serving in compliance with food safety and health department standards; assist with the training of vocational training candidates and deliver outstanding customer service.


Cafe Associate (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Ensure that each customer receives a superior product and service. Assist with food and beverage preparation and housekeeping duties.




Director of Development (FT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee, lead, develop and coordinate the overall strategy for total Mission fundraising and public relations. Coordinate community awareness and development activities and lead the development team in promoting and representing the Mission ministries.



Development Administrative Assistant (FT)

PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide administrative support for the Development Department and other departments as directed. Assist with planning and implementing special events. Assist with the compilation and distribution of information packets, proposals, and Mission materials.




Cook (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and cook meals for Mission food service programs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and surrounding food service areas.



Stocker (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage incoming donations. Store food properly and in a timely manner. Ensure the receiving area is clean and organized. Rotate stock by date.







Men’s Life Recovery Aftercare Coach (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee an effective Aftercare Program for both former Life Recovery residents and for current Stage 4 residents that upholds the Program standards and positive outcomes. Men’s Life Recovery Weekend Coordinator (PT)

Oversee the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and volunteers within the RRMM facility. Maintain a non-threatening, drug and alcohol-free environment. Women’s Crisis Weekend Coordinator (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, mental, and physical needs of Crisis guests and Life Recovery residents. Oversee the safety and security of all residents, visitors, and volunteers within the RRM facility. Maintain a non-threatening, drug and alcohol-free environment.





Career Specialist (PT)


PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist individuals to successfully prepare, secure and thrive in career path employment. Conduct assessments and follow-up services. In addition, provide coaching, encouragement, motivation, and direction.
