Tor a person in crisis, the first step is survival. But lasting change requires a solid foundation—education, work, housing and supportive relationships.

At the Connection Center, we help people rebuild those foundations. We walk alongside them to remove barriers, connect with resources and create a plan for long-term stability and hope.

Soft-Skills Training
Adult Literacy Assistance
Career Readiness
Advocacy Assistance

These services help provide underprepared job seekers with a structured path to meaningful employment. The Works! Center serves to help businesses fill critical job shortages to ultimately boost our area’s economic growth and productivity.

Additionally, Works! Center is an accredited Pearson Vue testing site where over 400 tests can be administered, including GED testing.

From Short-Term Shelter

to Long-Term Stability

A stay in a crisis shelter can provide immediate safety—but it isn’t a plan. At the Connection Center, we help people take the next steps: building a future on a stable foundation of skills, support and hope.

We remove barriers to employment, assist with transportation to job interviews and new jobs, and walk with and support housing pursuits, which lead to independence.

To Our Community Partners

To local employers: We prepare men and women with the skills and readiness for work. All we ask is that you give them the opportunity to prove themselves and to grow.
