While Rockford Rescue Mission staff take care of others in our community, RRM works to take care of our staff members so they can best carry out their roles and missions.

Chief Programs Officer (full-time)
Pursue the accomplishment of agreed-upon outcome goals for Life Recovery residents and Crisis guests by analyzing, strengthening, changing, systematizing and integrating the program and by providing motivation, direction, training and other assistance to the supervisors of respective programs. Rate: $67,800-$72,800/yr.
Receptionist (full-time)
Make every person who comes into contact with Rockford Rescue Mission either by telephone or in person to feel welcomed, encouraged and served in a Christlike manner. Rate: $15.50-$16.50/hour.
Church /Donor Relations Specialist (part-time)
Develop, coordinate and maintain the overall strategy for the Mission’s ministry to and with churches, parachurch ministries and ministry related organizations, and with other donor groups as assigned. Rate: $21-$23/hr.
Donor/Business Relations Specialist (full-time)
Cultivate and solicit all assigned donors and donor groups through stewardship strategies. Assist donors in achieving their stewardship goals. This will be accomplished through relationship building through various donor cultivation strategies. Rate: $22-$23/hr.
Cook (full-time and part-time)
Prepare and cook meals for residents and guests of Rockford Rescue Mission. Rate: $15.50-$16.75/hr.
Driver (part-time)
Under the supervision and direction of the Food Services Supervisor, safely and courteously pick up donations from designated donors and deliver to Rockford Rescue Mission. Rate: $15.50-$17/hr.
Child Care Assistant (part-time)
Care for and teach children in an age-appropriate, safe and secure Christian environment while resident mothers participate in daily program activities. Rate: $15.50-$17/hour.
Driver (part-time)
Under the supervision and direction of the Food Services Supervisor, safely and courteously pick up donations from designated donors and deliver to RRM. Rate: $15.50-$17/hr.
Men’s Life Recovery Resident Advocate (full-time)
Case-manage assigned residents by providing a comprehensive assessment that addresses the resident’s physical, emotional and spiritual health, support systems, educational needs and financial resources. Develop trusting relationships with residents to help them set and achieve goals. Actively participate in the character growth and development of residents. Offer advocacy and referral services. Provide assistance, encouragement, motivation and spiritual direction. Monitor safety and security of residents, visitors and volunteers. Rate: $19-$21/hour
Evening Coordinator (full-time)
Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of homeless men seeking services from the Rockford Rescue Mission Ministries. Oversee the safety and security of all Crisis Program guests, visitors and volunteers within the RRMM facility. Rate: $16-$18/hour
Men’s Life Recovery Night Coordinator (part-time)
Oversee the overall physical, safety, and spiritual needs of men residing in the Recovery Program during the night and early morning hours. Maintain a safe, non-threatening, drug- and alcohol-free environment. Assist the Men’s Recovery Program staff in various clerical responsibilities. Be responsible for the security of the building complex housing the men’s programs at RRM in conjunction with the Night Crisis Supervisor. Rate: $16-$18/hour
Women’s Crisis Guest Advocate (part-time)
Minister to the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of homeless individuals seeking emergency shelter from the Rockford Rescue Mission Ministries. Implement program policies and procedures. Provide assistance, encouragement, motivation and direction to all Crisis guests. Monitor safety and security of Crisis guests, visitors and volunteers. Maintain a non-threatening, drug- and alcohol-free environment. Be case manager for all guests who are not working full time. Be actively involved in the character growth and development of the women in the Crisis Program. Assist in the development of social and spiritual stability in the community as a contributing member in the following areas of responsibility: a strong work ethic, a sense of social accountability and a Christian example to family and friends. Rate: $18-$20/hr.
Associate/Cashier (part-time)
Check out customers in an efficient and Christlike manner. Assist in preparation of cash register drawers. Maintain the appearance of the sales floor by ensuring continual maintenance of all areas. This includes replacing/rearranging merchandise throughout the day to ensure everything is in the proper place and displayed in a neat, shopper-friendly way. Assist with timely transition from season to season and in the pricing of merchandise. Dress windows to attract customers and reflect the seasons. Rate: $15.50/hr.
Driver (part-time)
Drive the vehicle for the pickup service of Thrift Store, as well as be responsible for donations received through this service. Rate: $15.50-$17/hr.
